Finding our Balance

Balancing is an automatic process for all of us – so we can keep upright, even as we find ourselves pushed off. Balancing is also automatically at work as we maintain our emotional balance.

This is where the idea of context comes in. If it is going well, it is because we have easy access to the context or surrounding detail of situations. And then we can make sense of it and thereby maintain our emotional balance. And we need to do this so we can concentrate on what is actually happening in that moment and find a way to deal with it.

It is worth spending a little time focusing on what can happen that sometimes causes us to lose that emotional balance and so, what is the context that does this for us.
