Be Still
November 17, 2014

I urge you to view this short video, it is only 8 minutes - by David Whyte. He speaks compellingly of feelings we will all have from time to time – of being lost.

And he says we should be still. He reminds us of a wonderful poem by David Wagoner “What Do I do When Lost in the Forest". For what Wagoner is talking of are the magnificent cedar forests of North West United States. These are so dense that after just 100 meters you will be completely lost. But the trees are not lost and know where you are. And so you must stand still and let the forest find you.

For us to be still when panic rises within us ... how could that be?

best wishes
