Happily locked away
May 20, 2013

We are locked away all the time – trapped by our habits and by the way we automatically respond emotionally to what we find in front of us. And our prisons become our comforters for they keep us safe or pretend safe.

But just imagine that by being happily trapped that we felt safe enough and curious enough to really see what was there. To observe literally what was there – in front of us as we sat by the window looking out and we begin to see what is clogging up our mind and imagination.

Inspired by Olivia Fane’s “the conversation no 6” – being locked in the lavatory

best wishes
