Be Ridiculous
August 22, 2016

Recall your belly laughs. It was when something happened such that you took it in a way that simply let down all your defenses. And so all you could do was laugh and laugh. You were helpless … and it was wonderful.

Now, whether this was a staged event (an entertainment in other words) or whether you were a participant or a close observer – it matters not. Because you saw the ridiculousness of it and that was liberating.

To love the self, not in a smug way, but in a loving way is to give love to the mind. The mind has had the cruellest cut of all. All thoughts of malice and prejudice pass through the mind first. No wonder the mind does not , even cannot , cooperate with us. The mind is your inner child that needs peace and compassion poured and bestowed on it. When the mind is given love and taught that you are the embodiment of peace the self reaps the reward of that contentment. However... the mind is being treated it responds accordingly.

This is where the law of karma began. Once upon a time, centuries ago the mind continued non stop delivering sweet feelings to the soul. It now is responding to grudges and judgement the soul has of life and others. The mind gets it first. It is the soul’s karmic return of how the inner child feels - to be uncooperative. The healing takes place when you uplift your oldest friend. The mind is your spiritual organ that needs the love of an angel like a new born baby needs love and security. Don't give it anything less.
