A Story - Two Wolves
December 19, 2016

This is a story for everyone - it is where you look that counts because that will determine what you find.

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, fear, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “Why that’s simple – it’s the one you feed.”

Religion has chosen to call it God, science call it Nature of Law, psychology call it the Universal Subconscious Mind. I call it the Higher Self or the Indwelling I. No matter what name we give it, its only purpose is to provide us with what we want. My higher self awaits with all its power for me to make the choice, to believe, to have faith. We are all born equal. No more is given to a king than to a beggar. We are all one and he who think that he is superior and better suffers from ignorance and that ignorance kills them faster than the hemlock of Socrates.

Have a great week with sustaining the feeling of oneness my friends.

Sophia is a beautiful writer and I am happily sharing her work in my Feelbetter Newsletter.
