One of my favourite quotations is this:
If you just set people in motion they'll heal themselves Gabrielle Roth
I like it for a lot of reasons. One, it is about movement but it has a sense of just one small move at a time. I was going to say step, but that is not the right word. We are talking about a flow of movement, such as travelling along a beautifully shock absorbed track. But that is not right either. Is it? Because as you begin to move you don’t really know exactly where you are going and what your route is. But you know that as you move, the direction will open up and that each movement creates the possibility of a bigger movement that is resting on the shoulders of the previous move.
I like it also as a healer. That I am not expected to, nor ever could I hope to see very much more than to be aware of the stuckness and absence of movement of my client. And that perhaps I can push them off in a certain direction, but that is
all. They then have the power and the memories and the potential to take over and to just see where they go.
And finally – the quote is about mystery and uncertainty and being happy with that - because only then can do we grow and really move.

On the threshold of 2017 I sense a general mood of fear and uncertainty all around. It is hard to find a trace of optimism. Things that used to give us hope are crumbling and falling apart. If we believe everything that media tells us our eyes will cast a forlorn look to the outside world every morning and we will never be able get out of the house. There are so many that, nothing has ever touched them profoundly. They have never looked at the ocean with tears in their eyes. They have never looked at a mountain and felt free. They have never caught the sunlight before it hits
the blades of grass. They live without being truly alive.
May the New Year strengthen our intellect in order to grasp true nature of a thing, especially through intuitive understanding: an insight. So that we can move forward without fear. May it put hope in the hearts of those who are empty, tired and desperate; those who are less fortunate than us. We are particularly reminded of those living amidst war, those who are struggling with life for one or the other reason, those who have lost loved ones and those who have no-one to spend what should be a happy and peaceful time with. May each soul be able to hear the choir of harmony again. May we all find the key to our own inner wealth of blessings. Thank you for being a part of my journey and thank you for allowing me to be a part of yours. Much love and. wishing you a fruitful and a very Happy New year
