I did some research online, about pointillism and what caught my eye, was George Serat’s painting. It is really fascinating how he used pointillism, which is the artistic technique of painting thousands of microdots on a canvas.
Suddenly it gave me an insight and better understanding of human life on earth in the same way. What we do here, our purpose on earth and in the universe. Compare to the Universe we are tiny little dots. The thought that, we are so tiny and that there are so many of us often makes us feel vulnerable which often creates barriers and we become
frustrated thinking…will it ever register our daily efforts, our dreams and our intentions? Will it ever make sense? If we zoom into these dots, on the actual painting it won’t make any sense. All are different colour dots next to each other not knowing where they are leading.
However, from a distant viewpoint these individual dots makes a perfect scene. We can see it as an analogy of all the things in the universe. Each life, our ideas, simply a tiny colourful dot. From further away these blend contribute towards a bigger picture, a bigger goal, just like G Serat’s painting.
We can conquer the universe not in an egoistic or possessive way but to flourish and give meaning to our intentions, purposes and goals. Every soul that has left its body, is not lost, every thought that has been ever thought still exist. We are important, each and every atom, cell is important. We are not here just for the sake of sustenance and survival; we are here to live an
